Gray Gray owns The Only Gray and works as its owner stylist and colorist. He started doing hair at age 14, turned professional in Atlanta in 1992, and has 34 years of experience as a hairstylist.
Before opening his own studio, he worked behind the chair at salons in Palm Beach and California. He has been styling clients in Birmingham since 1997 and made the city his home base in 2023. His work has appeared in editorials, campaigns and celebrity hair, and his first celebrity client dates to 2004. Many clients have stayed with him for years, some for decades.
His specialties are multidimensional color, including highlights, balayage and correction, and gray blending. Color correction is among the work he enjoys most.
