Gerry Mayo

Gerry Mayo runs Endless Creations and the original Endless Creations Ltd. Salon, and is the driving creative talent behind Gerrylocks. Custom hair pieces, locks and braid extensions have been the core of the work since designs began in 1993, and the salon opened in 1997.

Training came at Brean Institute, and a cosmetology teaching license followed in 1997. The graduating class at Brean Institute presented an Outstanding Teachers Award, and the Barbers and Beauty Association of Philadelphia gave a Life Time Achievement Award in 2000.

Current roles include hair stylist, platform artist, educator and design consultant for the Beverly Johnson team. Over 15 years, product development and consulting for hair and beauty manufacturers has been part of the mix. Earlier, commercial art work in film, television and theater covered make-up and hair, followed by 25 years of marketing and sales experience in the corporate sector.

Specialties include non-surgical hair replacement for thinning hair, alopecia and cancer patients, weaving and extension techniques, custom-made wigs and replacement locking techniques. Television shows, radio stations, magazines and newspaper articles have all featured the work.
