He is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon whom the site describes as board-certified and fellowship-trained, and his listed credentials are an MD and FACS. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and holds an active Virginia medical license. He has practiced for over 20 years, serving women and men in the DMV area, and the site cites more than 30,000 cosmetic procedures performed, alongside a separate count of over 20,000 facial and body procedures.
His work covers face, nose, breast and body surgery. Named specialties include transaxillary (scarless) breast augmentation, ethnic rhinoplasty, high-definition liposuction, the deep plane facelift and suture suspension neck lift. He trained at George Washington University School of Medicine, completed a general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, and then a plastic surgery residency at the University of Virginia. After that he took an advanced aesthetic and breast surgery fellowship at Charlotte Plastic Surgery Center, followed by an international aesthetic fellowship in 2001 with surgeons in Beverly Hills, Rio de Janeiro, Melbourne, Johannesburg, New Jersey and Paris. He holds a biology degree from George Mason University and earlier studied at the University of Missouri.
He teaches as a clinical assistant professor at George Washington University, a role held since 2011. He directed the institute's ASAPS-endorsed Aesthetic Fellowship from 2019 to 2024, and has directed a summer internship for medical students since 2007. He has hospital appointments at INOVA Fairfax Hospital since 2002, and at INOVA Mount Vernon and INOVA Alexandria since March 2025. He has lectured at medical meetings in the United States, Brazil, Mexico, Lebanon, France, Monaco, Spain, China and the UAE, and was named a Key Opinion Leader for MERZ Aesthetics Expert Summit events in 2023 and 2024. He co-authored the book Cosmetic Surgery Bible, which the site says is about to be submitted for publication in 2026. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons and the Aesthetic Society. The site describes him as award-winning, as voted one of the top plastic surgeons in the Washington Metropolitan Area, and as one of the few surgeons to operate on all six continents.
