Gelareh

Gelareh is the owner and colorist of Hair by G. She has more than fifteen years of experience in color and styling, and is an American Board Certified Hair Colorist. She previously worked at Salon Cielo in Pentagon City.

Color is her main focus, including balayage, ombre, pulp riot and highlights. She mixes shades ranging from natural tones to pastel hues, and offers glazing and color correction. She holds a consultation to talk through what a client wants and to plan the service, and she helps clients who have a look in mind but no clear path to it map out a plan. She welcomes clients wanting a new color, a fresh hairstyle, or both. She also recommends glazing or conditioning treatments between visits. Her training covers several color systems, and she keeps current through ongoing education in cut styles and color techniques.
