Freda

Freda owns The Loc Shop and works as one of its stylists, focusing on natural hair. She has more than 15 years of experience as a natural hair stylist and became a full-time hairstylist in 2008.

Before that, she spent about eight years in corporate roles, including as an accountant, a financial analyst and an account executive for Radio One. While working as a salon assistant she attended cosmetology school in the evenings, completed cosmetology state boards in 2008, and holds a business degree from UMES. In 2009 she took over ownership of the Dreadloc Shop.
