About
Farah Ishtiyaque is the Chief Artist and founder of The Nailvault, which she opened in 2020 after working in higher education. She began studying nails around 2020 and opened the studio with non-toxic manicures and pedicures in mind. She also serves as education ambassador for Voesh in New York. She trained at Vanity Projects in New York under Japanese nail educators Junko Sato and Kanai Yagi, and has since been trained by industry experts across the United States. She is certified in Après Gel-X and as a dry manicure specialist. Her work centers on waterless, prescriptive manicures and pedicures that include e-file work, hand-painted nail art and Après Gel-X soft gel extensions. She works with precision, keeps natural nails and foot health at the center, and uses professional-grade tools and products. She believes in educating clients during their manicure, and clients typically book every three to four weeks.
