Essie Cohen

Essie Cohen is the owner, founder and head of artistry and development at Essie Cohen Makeup. She has over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, and her career has included luxury retail, fashion, bridal, education and brand strategy. She began as a makeup artist and later moved into leadership roles with established brands, where she led teams, drove sales and mentored emerging artists.

Her makeup work covers bridal, event and branded makeup, as well as editorial, TV and film. She also teaches makeup artistry and runs business mentorship that covers branding, portfolio building, digital presence and running a beauty business. She is launching a post-makeup school academy for aspiring beauty professionals.

She works behind the brush with clients and also teaches classes and consults on brand growth.
