Erwin Gomez

Erwin Gomez founded Erwin Gomez Beauty, a hair and beauty salon in Washington, D.C., and he serves as its creative director. He also works as a celebrity makeup artist and eyebrow specialist, with more than thirty years of experience in makeup and eyebrow design. He spent 12 years as national creative director for Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spas and worked as a resident makeup artist for Entertainment Tonight and CBS News. His work has reached the Grammy Awards and the ALMA Awards. His clients have included Hollywood stars and Washington political figures, often for red carpet and other high-profile events. In 2015 he launched Erwin Gomez Cosmetics. Allure named him the city's top eyebrow specialist for 14 consecutive years. He holds that true beauty is deeply personal, and that makeup should draw out a person's individuality instead of changing it.
