Erika Cyr is an owner and co-owner of The Gold Room, and she works there as a stylist. Her training began at the Douglas J Aveda Institute in East Lansing, and she has worked as a stylist in the Royal Oak area for the last eight years. In 2016 she completed the transitions cutting and coloring course at TIGI Academy in New York City, and she continues to take education courses. She placed first in the national Beacon competition for makeup artistry. Her specialties are men's barbering, short haircutting techniques and makeup.
