Empress Efunsade

Empress Efunsade founded Root + Honey and works there as its stylist. She has been working as a stylist for more than ten years, and her work centers on textured hair care, scalp health and hair maintenance over time.

She is licensed as a Texture Specialist and as an Esthetician and holds certification as a Somatic Practitioner. She has worked in beauty schools as an educator and has led hair care workshops that explore hair as structure, identity and access.

Her sessions draw on African healing systems and Indigenous traditions, and she guides guests toward restoring hair within their overall balance.
