Emily McKee

Emily McKee founded Atlanta Hair Color Studio in 2019. She has more than twenty years in the professional beauty industry, starting with cosmetology studies in Alabama while still in high school, and later moved to Atlanta to advance her career. She has been featured in Atlanta Magazine and VoyageATL, and her work is recognized with Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta Awards Program and BusinessRate recognitions.

She is a Certified Color Specialist for REDKEN, Keratin Complex and ARTEGO, and is certified in BELLAMI and HAIR DREAMS hair extensions, Brazilian Blowout, Cezanne Professional smoothing and CALECIM treatment. Her training includes cutting and balayage at Jaques Dessange, Rocco Altobelli Saint Paul color and foiling, Unite cutting and styling, Baxter's men's grooming, Keratin Complex foiling and color, Behind the Chair Premiere, Redken Gloss Boss and Lala updo classes. She is a Stage Artist for Intercouiffure ARTEGO and an educator for Siggers, teaching foiling and balayage pro classes.

Her specialties include blonding (color correction, gray blending, foiling, foilage, babylights, balayage, and bleach and tone), color touch-ups, lived-in color, fashion color and corrective color. On haircuts she works with French layering, precision cuts, curly hair, razor cuts, men's grooming and kids cuts. Treatment specialties include Cezanne Professional, Brazilian Blowout, silk press and hair growth work, and she handles tape-in and beaded weft extensions as well as event updos and makeup application. She works to build long-term client relationships through tailored salon visits.
