Edra Wilson

Edra Wilson heads Edra Couture Bridal as creative director and founder, and owns Bridal Prep Room in Sharon, which opened in 2024. Her career began in Chicago at Mario Tricoci salon, where she rose to artistic director. There she represented the salon at fashion shows, editorial shoots and national events, and taught new stylists cutting and styling through the salon's MT training program. In 2010 she opened Edra Couture Salon & Day Spa in West Dundee, Illinois, and she relocated to Boston in 2020. She is a multi-licensed cosmetologist, educator and medical aesthetician, and an award-winning, published bridal hair and makeup artist. Chicago Style Wedding, Gmaro, Alpha and Luxury Modern Brides have all run her work on their front covers. Her specialties are classic Hollywood glam, boho chic and South Asian bridal looks. She works as a bridal fusion artist, covering both Western-style and South Asian weddings. She offers one-on-one luxury services herself, with a minimum-day booking requirement. Before a trial, she sets up a Zoom consultation to learn the bride's wishes, then builds each look around the gown, whether a traditional sari or a modern lehenga. She leads the ECB team on the belief that a team's creative unity grows from continuing education and practical training.
