Dzi-Long Newman, MPAS, PA-C

Dzi-Long Newman, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant with the practice. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Cell Science and a master's degree in Physician Assistant Sciences, both from the University of Florida, with the master's completed in 2000. She began work as a physician assistant at Tampa General Hospital on the Hand and Microsurgery Team, where she trained in evaluating and treating hand injuries and disorders, microsurgery, flaps, wound repair and suturing of traumatic lacerations.

After moving to North Carolina, she worked at a dermatology practice focused on skin care, general and surgical dermatology and skin cancer treatment, and worked with dermatologists in the Piedmont Triad area. She keeps up with continuing medical education in plastic and reconstructive surgery, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic medicine. She works with patients of all ages and skin types, and her hand surgery and dermatology background complements the practice's care.
