Dr. Stephanie Smith-Phillips

Dr. Stephanie Smith-Phillips founded Mt. Pleasant Dermatology and started the practice with a single exam room and one employee. She is a board-certified dermatologist who leads the practice as its founder.

Her education began at the University of South Carolina in 1976. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the Duke University School of Medicine in 1980, then began a doctor of medicine program at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1981, studying internal medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the same university from 1982 to 1985.
