Dr. Soheil Simzar

Soheil Simzar is a dermatologist at the Santa Monica location of AVA MD, where he is among the dermatologists who administer Botox for wrinkles and who treat target areas with Belotero dermal filler. He holds board certification in both dermatology and Mohs Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery, and his specialties are cosmetic dermatology and Mohs skin cancer surgery. The salon's site states that he was among the first to earn certification in the Mohs Micrographic subspecialty. He trained at UCLA and its affiliated hospitals, completing his undergraduate degree, medical school, and residencies in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. He then finished a fellowship in advanced cosmetic and surgical procedures. He received the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Preceptorship Grant and teaches dermatologic surgery and cosmetics to resident dermatologists.
