Dr. Sofia Rubbani

Dr. Sofia Rubbani is a board-certified oculoplastics surgeon who founded Tucson Cosmetics and leads its team. She brings more than 20 years of experience in oculoplastic, ocular and cosmetic surgery, and over 15 years of injectable work. Her focus is ophthalmic plastics, also known as ocular plastics, along with cosmetic surgery. She trained at New York University School of Medicine, graduating there and later serving as chief resident in ocular surgery. Her integrative medicine fellowship was completed with Dr. Andrew Weil's institute. Her credentials include board certification in ocular surgery, fellow status with the American Board of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and a Fellow of Clinical Faculty appointment at Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is named a Diamond Injector for Botox and Juvederm and is listed as an Allergan Diamond Provider. Her services include blepharoplasty, liposuction, injectables, laser treatments and skin rejuvenation, with Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau injections among them. Before recommending a plan, she assesses eyelids, brows, underlying fat, skin quality and facial proportions, and she takes detailed pre-operative measurements with calipers. Consultations can last up to an hour. Her eyelid planning balances appearance, function and tissue preservation. She handles all initial consultations, performs all surgery in the office, and provides IV treatments under her direct care.
