Dr. Slack

Dr. Slack is a board-certified plastic surgeon who founded North Texas Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in Allen, Texas, and sees patients from Plano, McKinney, Frisco and nearby communities. He also leads the aesthetic team at Skin Remedy MD. He holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Southern Methodist University and an MD from UT Southwestern Medical School, and he trained in general surgery at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas and in plastic surgery at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., followed by a cosmetic and reconstructive breast surgery fellowship at Georgetown.

Breast augmentation and other body contouring surgery are his main areas. He has years of experience in breast augmentation and is trained in its most established techniques. Before any incisions, he listens to each patient's goals and lays out options, then reviews the breast augmentation procedure and treatment plan before surgery is scheduled. For Botox Cosmetic, he evaluates a patient's health, goals and expectations at the first consultation and helps determine whether Botox or another procedure fits better. He can pair Botox Cosmetic injections with dermal fillers such as Restylane during the same visit. Before treatment, he explains how many injections will be given and where, the expected effect, and the timing and duration. He was named one of D Magazine's Best Doctors for 2011 through 2015 and 2018 through 2024, and he received the D Magazine Collin Best Plastic Surgeon award for 2018 through 2024.
