Dr. Sergio Gaitan, MD

Dr. Sergio Gaitan is a board-certified dermatologist in Miami, Florida, and the founder of Certified Cosmetics Dermatology & Laser, which he established in 2023. He focuses on cosmetic dermatology and advanced laser and energy-based treatments. He came back to Miami after finishing medical training and has practiced dermatology in South Florida since completing his residency.

His education began with a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, earned cum laude at the University of Florida. He then received his Doctor of Medicine with high honors from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed a transitional internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego and a dermatology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.

Outside the clinic, he serves as a Key Opinion Leader for WONTECH USA and as a speaker for Cynosure Lutronic. He has presented to other physicians at the NAMA Annual Medical Congress in Miami on Pico laser technology, and he has published in peer-reviewed medical literature, including work on laser resurfacing and laser and light techniques in facial aesthetics.
