Dr. Selena Huang

Dr. Selena Huang is a provider at New York Laser Vision.

She works in specialty contact lens fittings and corneal reshaping therapies, offering non-surgical vision correction through corneal reshaping, and she also provides care for dry eye syndrome and myopia management.

Her training started with a bachelor's degree in Medical & Molecular Biology from MCPHS, completed with honors. She then earned a Doctorate of Optometry through the accelerated program at Pennsylvania College of Optometry, magna cum laude, and completed post-doctorate residency and fellowship training in Seattle in specialty contact lens fitting, orthokeratology and vision care after eye disease or surgery.

She has received the CooperVision Excellence in Contact Lens Award and a 2021 Travel Grant from Cornea, Contact Lens & Refractive Technologies. She has spoken at Specialty Eye Expo since October 2021 and at the Global Specialty Lens Symposium in Winter 2019, and has published in Optometry Times. She is an active member of Beta Sigma Kappa, the American Optometric Association and the New York State Optometric Association, and also belongs to Phi Kappa Phi.
