About
Dr. Julia Giyaur, an ophthalmologist, founded New York Laser Vision, where she serves as founder and medical director. She also started Juno Medspa, a non-surgical aesthetics studio, and she owns New York Laser Vision Aesthetics. Across more than 20 years in ophthalmology, she has carried out thousands of microsurgical eye operations and vision-correction procedures, plus more than 3,500 eyelid surgeries. Her private practice is based in Brooklyn, and she holds clinical and operating privileges at Mount Sinai New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and at Northwell North Shore University Medical Center. Outside patient care, she teaches and consults at hospitals and clinics throughout New York City and has trained other ophthalmologists in surgical methods and standards of care. Her cataract surgery pairs advanced techniques with premium lens options. Before LASIK, she considers choosing the right patient, procedure and expectations the most important step. At Juno Medspa, her non-surgical treatments include dermal fillers, Botox and liquid face-lifting. She sees patients in Brooklyn, Manhattan and nearby communities.
