Dr. Ran Stark

Dr. Ran Stark is a plastic surgeon who founded StarkMD Plastic Surgery & Aesthetic Center in Bryn Mawr. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He is certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

He earned an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Delaware, graduating summa cum laude, and then attended the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel-Aviv University, where he was valedictorian of his class. He spent six years in general surgery training at Morristown Medical Center, serving as Administrative Chief Resident in his final year and receiving the Hughs D. Dougan, M.D. Award. He then completed a plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern and a one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship with Dr. Louis P. Bucky, an program endorsed by the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, during which he took part in more than 1,000 cosmetic operations.

His practice covers plastic surgery of the breast, body and face, using both surgical and nonsurgical methods for the body. He has co-authored textbook sections and journal articles and has presented his research at regional and national meetings.
