Dr. Priya Walia

Priya Walia leads Wellness (Rx)Defined as its owner and medical director, working as a naturopathic and Ayurvedic physician. She holds the Naturopathic Doctor (ND) credential and a Master of Science in Ayurvedic Sciences (MS Ayu). Her doctorate in naturopathic medicine and her undergraduate degree in human biology and health psychology both come from Bastyr University, where she also earned the Master's as part of the program's first Ayurveda class. She also studied Ayurveda in India and completed a CNME-approved residency in naturopathic medicine and Ayurveda. She speaks Hindi, Punjabi and English. Her clinical work centres on general wellness and on long-term conditions including autoimmune disease, digestive problems, hormonal (endocrine) care, women's and reproductive health, heart disease, diabetes, and skin and cosmetic concerns. Her regenerative training covers trigger point injections, perineural injections and platelet-rich plasma, and her aesthetic training includes microneedling, PRP and Botox. She also formulates the clinic's loose-leaf teas and botanical elixirs.
