About

Dr. Neely Khan founded Neely Dermatology & Aesthetics and serves as its founder and CEO. She is board-certified in dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Her training started with an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, followed by an MD and an MS from Georgetown University School of Medicine and a research fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania during medical school. She then completed an internship at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and a dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Her clinical work covers facial rejuvenation, pigmentary disorders, hair and scalp conditions, nail disease and skin of color. She also offers regenerative aesthetics and body contouring, and creates a skincare plan for every patient. Weight loss treatment is a specialty, with particular attention to how weight loss shows up in the skin and hair. At consultation she reviews health history, lifestyle and goals to assess GLP-1 eligibility.

She sits on the boards of the DC Dermatologic Society and the Medical Society of DC, and is a former president of the Georgetown Clinical Society. She is also actively involved with the Women's Dermatologic Society and the Skin of Color Society. Her memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Mentoring is part of her work with pre-med undergraduates, gap-year students, medical students and dermatology residents. She has been named a Washingtonian Top Doctor and a Castle Connolly Top Doctor.
