Dr. Michelle Retz

Dr. Michelle Retz practices as a naturopathic medical doctor at aNu Aesthetics & Optimal Wellness in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a board-certified naturopathic medical doctor (NMD) and a licensed naturopathic doctor. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years teaching gastroenterology and advanced gynecology at Sonoran University. Her clinical focus includes digestive problems, mental and emotional concerns such as anxiety, depression and PTSD, hormone issues involving thyroid, adrenal and women's health, and autoimmune conditions. Her areas of emphasis are female hormone health, gut repair, chronic illness and pediatric care. She is well versed in drug-drug, drug-herb and drug-nutrient interactions. Her approach aims at underlying causes of illness and at restoring vitality, using homeopathy, herbs, nutrition, acupuncture and detoxification.
