Dr. Michael Meng

Dr. Michael Meng works as a supporting provider in regenerative medicine at Nourish Medical Center in San Diego. The California Board of Nursing licenses him as a Nurse Practitioner, and the California Board of Chiropractors licenses him as well. He completed a Doctorate in Chiropractic at Cleveland Chiropractic College and a Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice at United States University. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine and holds the designation Registered Physician of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound.

He started practicing musculoskeletal ultrasound soon after finishing chiropractic school in 2003. He worked at a large rheumatology practice in Southern California, where he began using the technique to make diagnoses. Later he took on contract work, delivering ultrasound and ultrasound-guided care for clinics in a range of specialties. Clients for that work have included the United States Olympic Committee, Santa Monica Orthopedic and Sports Medicine, Anatara Medical, Bio Reset Medical, and the Orthohealing Institute. He has also written three reference atlases: the Complete Ultrasound Atlas of Painful Conditions, the Complete Ultrasound Atlas of Guided Injections, and the Complete Atlas of Interventional Pain Guided Procedures.

His clinical focus is painful conditions that significantly affect quality of life, along with conditions that have not improved with traditional standard of care. He sees patients at Nourish about once a month and sometimes twice a month.
