Dr. Melanie Ho Erb

Dr. Melanie Ho Erb founded her own practice and works as a surgeon specializing in eyelids and oculoplastic procedures. She holds a BA from UCLA and an MD from UC Irvine, and she completed a surgery internship and an ophthalmology residency at UC Irvine. She then finished a two-year oculoplastic surgery fellowship at Eyesthetica in Los Angeles, an ASOPRS-approved program. She is double board-certified in ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery. After the fellowship she joined Eyesthetica as an oculoplastic surgeon and stayed about ten years before moving to Irvine to open her private practice. Her clinical focus is eyelid surgery, along with neurotoxins, dermal fillers and laser treatments aimed at signs of aging around the eyes and face. She has performed thousands of eyelid surgeries and cosmetic injections. She has been named a Top Doctor since 2010 by Los Angeles Magazine, Orange Coast Magazine, Castle Connolly and Vitals, and she was featured on the CBS program This Is L.A. She has written book chapters and journal articles, and she is invited to present her techniques to physicians at meetings. She has taught oculoplastic fellows at Eyesthetica and ophthalmology residents at UC Irvine and USC. She is a highly regarded Asian eyelid specialist, and her results look natural and refined, with close attention to detail.
