About
Dr. Megan L. Swonke is a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and an Otolaryngology–Head and Neck surgeon (ENT) who joined Heights Plastic Surgery in Houston. The site describes her as hand-selected for the role. Her practice is limited to the face and neck, and she performs facelifts, including deep plane techniques, and neck lifts. She also performs cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty, endoscopic brow lifts, upper and lower eyelid surgery, and facial fat grafting.
Her training began at Texas A&M University, where she graduated magna cum laude, followed by a medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). She completed her otolaryngology residency at UTMB, where the site says she graduated at the top of her class, was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, and received the Paul Brindley Resident Teaching Award. She contributed to several peer-reviewed publications during residency and then completed a one-year facial plastic surgery fellowship through the AAFPRS at the University of Kansas.
Outside of surgery, she offers surgical and non-surgical facial skin resurfacing, facial refinement work such as scar and contour correction, and reconstruction after Mohs or oncologic surgery of the face. Her non-surgical facial rejuvenation options include neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and regenerative treatments.
