Dr. Mark Su is Medical Director of TruWellness. He leads the clinic and medically reviews the health material on its website, including service and program pages, TruRadiance and functional medicine content, IV therapy and GLP-1 weight-loss content, and the FAQ and policies page. He is board-certified in family medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, and has practiced since 2003. He trained at Cornell University as a Dean's Scholar and was Academic Chief Resident at Tufts University. He received the national Mead-Johnson Award for outstanding scholastic performance in a Family Medicine residency. In 2014 he founded Personal Care Physicians of Greater Newburyport, an integrative healthcare practice. His clinical focus is the causes of chronic inflammation, including chronic Lyme, mold illness, autoimmune conditions, long COVID and immune deficiencies. He hosts The Su TruReport, a podcast and blog where he explains health topics in plain English and writes evidence-based articles.
