Dr. Mark Khorsandi

Dr. Mark Khorsandi founded ZO Skin Centre Dallas, where he serves as medical director and part owner. He sets medical candidacy and treatment planning and oversees clinical care at the Dallas clinic, deciding whether a given treatment belongs on a patient's plan. He is a physician and surgeon with a DO degree, with hand surgery as his primary specialty and general surgery as his secondary one. His practice centers on peripheral nerve surgery, neuropathy care and BOTOX for migraine relief, and he founded the Migraine Relief Center in Dallas. He trained at Boston College, earning a Bachelor's degree, and at Nova Southeastern University, where he received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 1999. He completed a general surgery internship at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a general surgery residency at Peninsula Hospital Center, and a fellowship under hand-injury surgeon Dr. Charles P. Melone. He was mentored directly by Dr. Zein Obagi, with multiple visits to Dr. Obagi's Beverly Hills clinic, and he regularly takes part in laser and aesthetics courses. His hospital experience includes several New York institutions. He is one of the few surgeons in Texas trained in migraine, hand and micro-surgery, and he has 22 years of active practice in the U.S. or Canada, 15 of them in Texas.
