Dr. Mariano Busso

Dr. Busso serves as the practice's medical director and works as a cosmetic dermatologist. His focus is injectable treatments such as dermal fillers and Botox, along with filler-based approaches to dark circles under the eyes. He holds clinical appointments in the University of Miami's dermatology department and has been a senior medical attending at Mercy Hospital since 2002.

He developed the BussoLyft, a PDO thread procedure, and was among the earliest doctors to bring PDO threads to the US. He also developed a technique for mixing lidocaine into fillers and helped build treatment protocols for Ultherapy, Vanquish ME and EMSCULPT. He took part in an FDA advisory panel that drafted national guidelines for cosmetic fillers.

Each dark circle case is assessed individually before a customized plan is made, and under-eye plans for male patients are tailored as well. The practice notes that he has treated celebrities and high-profile clients.
