Dr. Maria Mainolfi

Dr. Maria Mainolfi serves as Medical Director at Glee Med Spa. Before opening her own private practice in Maryland in 2021, she spent more than twenty years across internal medicine, preventive medicine, aesthetic medicine, hormone replacement and integrative medicine. Her undergraduate work at Virginia Tech, completed magna cum laude, led to a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and analytical chemistry, and while there she trained at the Fralin Institute and held a Fralin fellowship for research in microbiology and biochemistry. She then earned an MD from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Master of Public Health from the University of South Florida, where she also finished an intern year in general surgery. She trained with Dr. George Gavrila in 2018 and with Dr. Whipps in 2021, and studied functional medicine under Dr. Lord and Dr. Wills. Her clinical focus covers IV drip therapy, NAD+, hair loss treatment with PRP, weight loss, aesthetic treatments and hormone replacement therapy. She is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and belongs to the American College of Preventive Medicine, AMMG, AAFE, AAAM and ASLMS.
