Dr. Lucy Postolov

Dr. Lucy Postolov holds a Doctor of Medicine and worked as a medical doctor in Russia, specializing in neurology. She completed a fellowship in neurology and traditional Chinese medicine at Tashkent Medical University, studied Chinese medicine in China, Russia and the United States, and earned a doctoral degree in Chinese medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in San Diego. She has about 40 years of experience in Chinese medicine. She spent 25 years at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was the first licensed acupuncturist granted full privileges there. Her training includes peptide bioregulators through a collaboration with Dr. Khavinson's program at St. Petersburg Medical Academy for Post-Graduate Studies, and she was one of the first doctors to use Doctor Khavinson's peptides. She is an early practitioner of peptide therapy and has experience with complex, chronic and stress-driven conditions. She works with oncologists in Los Angeles on cancer care support and with M.D.s involved in a patient's care. She is a Master Chinese Herbalist who includes herbal remedies in her acupuncture practice. She works with a patient's primary care physician to choose herbal combinations and dosages, adjusts dosages as a patient's condition changes, and monitors progress closely. She has published articles, audio and video, and presentations, and works as an acupuncturist in Los Angeles. She has used facial acupuncture on patients for 27 years.
