Dr Levi

Dr Levi is the founder of Ayana Dermatology & Aesthetics in Fort Lauderdale and practices there as a dermatologist. She opened the practice in 2020 with a founding partner, after several years in private practice in Manhattan, where she also held a faculty attending appointment at Columbia University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. She later relocated to South Florida.

She earned an undergraduate dual degree in chemistry and nutritional science at the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude, and trained at Nova Southeastern University medical school. Her dermatology residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx included a term as Chief Resident. She conducted NIH-sponsored research at Case Western Reserve University on treating atopic dermatitis in children, and served as principal investigator on an IRB-led study of pigmentation product development and melasma treatment. She has published numerous dermatology articles, lectured nationally, worked with a chemist on biologically active cosmeceutical formulations for a skincare company, and taught and mentored young physicians.

Her practice spans medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology, treating people of every age, gender and skin type. Her areas of focus include melasma, pigmentation disorders and acne scars. She diagnoses specific types of hair loss, including inflammatory and scarring forms, and recommends KeraLase alongside medical-grade products where appropriate. The practice describes her as an industry-leading, board-certified dermatologist and one of the best dermatologists in Fort Lauderdale.
