Dr. Leonard Einstein DNP

Dr. Leonard Einstein DNP is a double board-certified nurse practitioner who works at You & I Primary Care, Aesthetics and Wellness, where he performs the practice's primary care services. He holds the title of Director of Nursing and Aesthetic Injector Education, and his work centers on non-surgical aesthetic medicine and functional medicine, with a stated focus on anti-aging and dermatology.

His education runs from a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in Davie, Florida (2013-2017), to a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Florida National University in Hialeah (2017-2019), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chamberlain (2019-2022). He also holds a Doctor of Medicine from the Higher Institute of Medical Sciences in Camaguey, Cuba (2004-2009), which is foreign-educated and not a US board-certified medical doctorate. After his master's he completed a post-master's dermatology certification designed for nurse practitioners, and he trained with dermatologists and injectors in the United States.

He holds injector certifications from Allergan Medical Institute (Master Injector Certificate), Galderma and Merz Aesthetics. He is a candidate for board certification in aesthetic medicine through the American Academy of Procedural Medicine and is not yet certified. Since 2019 he has been adjunct faculty in the Department of Nursing at Florida National University, and he lectures and consults for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He has worked on clinical trials of investigational treatments in cosmetic, laser and surgical dermatology, and his investigational team contributed to FDA approval of several skin-condition medications and devices. His writing covers complications of aesthetic procedures, fractional laser technologies, facial contouring and sports-related dermatological conditions. The Miami Herald has featured him as a medical authority, and he has appeared on Univision and Telemundo discussing skin care, laser treatments and non-surgical body contouring.
