She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania. She then graduated from Mount Sinai School of Medicine with the highest honors and AOA membership. She completed her dermatology residency at Yale University. She has written numerous publications and has edited a dermatology board review textbook.
