Dr. Lacara

Dr. Lacara serves as Medical Director of The Spa at Mecca, the Fairfield medical spa she launched in 2009. Her roughly 20-year career started in medicine rather than aesthetics: she earned a pharmacy degree, returned to medical school, and completed a family medicine residency, where she was appointed Chief Resident. She then built a primary care practice in family medicine before moving into aesthetic medicine.

She holds the D.O. credential and has trained extensively for more than a decade, continuing with advanced courses and ongoing education. She achieved Top 10 Allergan status in New Jersey. She also serves as an Allergan Medical Institute trainer, teaching other injectors across the country.
