Dr. Kristen Nye

Dr. Kristen Nye holds L.Ac., D.Ac. and Dipl. Ac. credentials and is a licensed, board-certified acupuncturist. Her training came through the Won Institute of Graduate Studies, where she logged more than 2,700 hours across Eastern and Western medical practice. Coursework there covered Traditional Chinese Medicine, Five Element Theory, and Japanese, Korean and sports medicine acupuncture. During graduate school she apprenticed at a practice focused on Japanese acupuncture, and before that she interned at an outpatient clinic in downtown Philadelphia. Beyond needles, she works with cupping, tuina, moxa and gua sha, and her work covers pain and stress, digestive issues, sleep disorders and fertility. Other credentials include a Massage Therapy Certificate from Parisian Spa Institute, a Certified Holistic Health Coach credential from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and a BS in International Studies and Modern Language from Florida State University.
