Dr. Julene Walker, DNP

Dr. Julene Walker is the owner and lead practitioner at Jules Aesthetics, a med spa in Floral Park, NY. She works as a family nurse practitioner and holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. She began her nursing education with graduation from nursing school in 2001, studied the family nurse practitioner track at SUNY Downstate, and became a board-certified family nurse practitioner in 2007.

Her training has moved into aesthetics and skin care over time. In 2018 she attended Emory University and earned skin and wound care certification through the school's wound care program. She then completed beginner and advanced BOTOX and dermal filler programs through the Esthetic Skin Institute. She began practicing aesthetics in 2019, and in 2020 she graduated from Chamberlain University with her doctorate in nursing practice. Her doctoral project centered on health promotion and weight management. She continues to train through Empire Medical Training.

Her work spans aesthetics, skin care and weight management. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Clients can schedule a consultation with her and the professional team to talk through individual needs before any treatment begins.
