About
Dr. John Vu is a board-certified family physician and the medical director of Georgia Wellness Solutions, and he also serves as medical director of the med spa. He graduated from Mercer University School of Medicine in 1994. Before launching a Direct Primary Care practice in December 2016, he worked in traditional private practice and in urgent care and primary care leadership roles.
He has pursued functional medicine since 2000 and moved into aesthetic medicine in 2015. His specialized training covers advanced laser applications, regenerative aesthetics and advanced aesthetic injectables. He is board-certified in stem cell and fat transfer procedures and holds certificates in platelet-rich plasma for aesthetic and joint injection, anti-aging, physician medical weight loss, hormone pellet therapy, botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, complete facial aesthetics, mesotherapy, sclerotherapy for spider veins, and sexual dysfunction treatment for men and women. He serves as a national trainer for aesthetic procedures, directs all Fotona laser procedures and all IV therapy treatments, and performs or oversees all injectable treatments.
He performs comprehensive hormone assessments and hormone replacement therapy evaluations, and he prioritizes face-to-face visits to build patient relationships and complete thorough evaluations. He was named Georgia Family Physician of the Year in 2025, an honor voted on by peers in the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians.
