Dr. John Haest

Dr. John Haest is the medical director of Veritas Backstage, where he provides physician oversight across every service line. He provides medical oversight at the Austin location and medical direction at the Fredericksburg location, and he has been in practice for 37 years. He works as an integrative medicine specialist, is a patient advocate, and believes that rapport and trust between physician and patient lead to better outcomes. He graduated from the Southwestern Medical School of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in 1981 and completed a residency through the Austin Medical Education Program. He holds an MD degree. His preventive treatment programs are comprehensive and use bioidentical hormone therapy. His hormone work addresses menopause and its early signs, perimenopause, PMS, and andropause in men. His endocrine care covers thyroid health and stress-induced adrenal fatigue.
