Cherrel Lahnum

Cherrel Lahnum is an esthetician at Veritas Backstage, with locations in Austin and Fredericksburg, Texas. She performs every facial service at both locations and travels from Austin to Fredericksburg for the Ayurvedic aesthetics work there. She has been a licensed esthetician for seven years and is a certified Ayurvedic practitioner who trained abroad in India. Ayurvedic aesthetics is her specialty, and it shapes the Veritas Ayurvedic menu, which includes facials, Abhyanga and dosha consultations. She believes skin health starts from within. Each visit begins with a consultation covering the skin, the client's history and their goals. Rather than following a fixed protocol, she reads the skin closely and customizes each facial with cleansing, exfoliation, extractions and treatments chosen for that skin. She works often with acneic skin, looking at what drives breakouts and building a plan that carries between appointments, and she gives home care guidance across skincare and lifestyle. She also formulates many of her own organic products.
