Dr. Jennifer So, DAOM, MSAOM, LAc.

Dr. Jennifer So founded So Acupuncture and directs the clinic. She holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from South Baylo University, where she graduated summa cum laude, received the President's Award and was recognized for clinical excellence. Her training there was under physicians and acupuncturists from several countries. She also did undergraduate and graduate studies at UCLA, where she was given the Chancellor's Service Award. She is a California board-licensed acupuncturist and herbalist.

Her experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine spans more than thirty years and covers education, apprenticeship and clinical practice, including over 15,000 hours of advanced clinical training. For her doctoral research she designed and ran a randomized controlled trial on back acupuncture.

Her specialties are neuro acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and TCM nutrition, and she focuses on patients with neurological, digestive, skin and mental health concerns.
