About
Dr. Jennifer S. Jackson works at Ocean Ki Wellness as an acupuncturist and massage therapist. She holds DAOM and MSOM credentials, is a licensed massage therapist, and is a CranioSacral Therapy Practitioner. She has more than 20 years of experience in acupuncture, Oriental medicine and holistic therapies, and about 20 years in massage therapy.
She earned her master's in Oriental medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College, graduating in December 2011, and studied massage therapy at the Community College of Rhode Island. Her craniosacral training with the Upledger Institute began in 2007. Her main focus is traditional Japanese Hari-style acupuncture and pediatric Shonihari treatment. She studied Hari-style acupuncture with Dr. Ehrland Truitt at Southwest Acupuncture College, studied in Osaka, Japan with pediatric acupuncture specialist Masanori Tanioka Sensei, and made a second trip to Japan in April 2015 to study meridian therapy and pediatric Shonihari. She continues her studies with T. Koei Kuwahara in Watertown, Massachusetts. She also specializes in microneedling.
Dr. Jackson served as vice-president of the Boston Hari Society from 2013 to 2015 and as president from 2015 to 2017. She has facilitated several six-month Hari Series programs in Watertown, Massachusetts.
