About
Dr. Jenna Vitale is the founding provider at Heart Based Health. She is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and Doctor of Chinese Medicine, and holds double board certification as an acupuncturist. She graduated with honors from Yo San University in Los Angeles in 2019, where her studies focused on reproductive medicine and classical Chinese medicine. She completed clinical and herbal formulation training in Beijing, China, and at ZheJiang Hospital in Hangzhou, China. She is certified in The Balance Method, an acupuncture system. Her practice is built around classical acupuncture using a 68-channel system. In 2023, she set up a weekly acupuncture clinic for homeless youth living in transitional housing at Covenant House in Hollywood.
