Dr. Jacquelyn Katz

Dr. Jacquelyn Katz works as an Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner and founded The Mediluxe Spa in Leesburg, Virginia, where she offers medical aesthetic and wellness treatments. She has more than 25 years of nursing practice across medical aesthetics, family-centred care, women's health, retail clinics and primary care, and in the areas of health promotion, chronic illness prevention, weight control, and mental health care for both teenagers and adults. She earned a BSN and an MSN from Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Radford University, where she held an academic scholarship and was one of the first in her class to earn that degree. She graduated with honors and was elected to Sigma Theta Tau and Delta Epsilon Sigma, two national scholastic honor societies. Her doctoral capstone looked at how a breast cancer diagnosis affects younger women psychologically and socially. Her aesthetic education includes coursework with Dr. Arthur Swift, Dr. Sebastian Cotofana, Dr. Tim Pearce, Julie Horne, Dr. Shino Bay and Dr. Jonathan Sykes, taken in Manchester and London in the UK, Zurich in Switzerland, Fort Lauderdale in Florida, and Beverly Hills in California. She has been named a top-performing advanced clinician whose work exceeds patient satisfaction.
