Dr. Gregory T. Lynam

Dr. Gregory T. Lynam practices as a plastic surgeon at Richmond Surgical Arts, a Richmond, Virginia practice he started in 2003. He holds board certification in plastic surgery and in oral and maxillofacial surgery. The practice calls him the only plastic and maxillofacial surgeon in Richmond who is board certified in both. He also serves as Chief of Medical Staff at Stony Point Surgery Center, an accredited on-site surgery center.

He trained at the Medical College of Virginia, where he earned a dental degree and a medical degree. Residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery was followed by several years of general surgery training. Plastic surgery training, also at the Medical College of Virginia, covered reconstructive and cosmetic procedures across the body. He completed a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship under Dr. Howard Tobin at the Cosmetic Surgical Center of Texas.

His practice centers on breast augmentation and body contouring. Over his career he has performed tumor surgeries, breast reconstructions and facial trauma surgeries for patients in the community. Richmond Magazine listed him among Richmond's Top Docs in plastic surgery in 2010, and according to the site the magazine also named him among its best plastic surgeons that year. He is recognized on RealSelf as an expert plastic surgeon and was named one of its Top 100 Doctors in 2013.
