About

Dr. Gregory Lynam is a board-certified plastic surgeon and oral and maxillofacial surgeon who founded Richmond Surgical Arts, Inc. in 2003 and works there as the practice's surgeon. He also serves as Chief of Medical Staff at Stony Point Surgery Center, the accredited on-site surgery center. The site describes him as Richmond's only board-certified plastic and maxillofacial surgeon and as a breast augmentation and body contouring surgeon in the city.

He performs the practice's breast augmentation and its surgical procedures, with a focus on the transaxillary sub-muscular technique. Incisions are made at the armpits and an endoscope is used to place the implants, a method the site says he has used for almost 20 years. He prefers smooth, round implants, in either saline or silicone.

His work also includes tumor surgeries, breast reconstructions and facial trauma surgeries, and he has helped community members with these procedures. The site states he has more than 20 years of experience. Richmond Magazine voted him one of Richmond's Top Docs in plastic surgery in 2010, according to the practice, and RealSelf named him an expert plastic surgeon and one of its Top 100 Doctors in 2013, also according to the practice. He writes articles for the practice blog on procedures such as breast enhancement recovery.
