Dr. Glynn Bolitho

Dr. Glynn Bolitho is a plastic surgeon in La Jolla, California, who practices cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast and body. He is an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at UCSD, where he also formerly held a non-salaried appointment, and earlier served as Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery at Emory University. He was elected Chief of Plastic Surgery at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for four terms, eight years in total, and has appeared on local and national television discussing how to choose a plastic surgeon and breast reconstruction. He was voted Top Plastic Surgeon for eight years by peers at the San Diego County Medical Society.

His training spans South Africa, England and the United States. He attended the University of the Witwatersrand, completed residencies in general surgery and plastic surgery, and took fellowships at the University of Cape Town. He trained in plastic surgery at Oxford's Radcliffe Infirmary and later completed fellowships in plastic surgery and surgical oncology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

He has more than 20 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery and has achieved results for clients worldwide for more than two decades. His dermal filler work aims to restore volume, smooth lines and enhance facial contours, placed with fine needles or a cannula with attention to depth and proportion, and he assesses facial anatomy and goals at consultation before planning a treatment. He favors subtle enhancement of facial proportions over overfilling. He also designed the Simplicity Neck Lift.
