Dr. Fred Wilder

Dr. Fred Wilder is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Austin Plastic Surgery Institute in Austin, Texas. He co-founded the practice in 2003 with a group of plastic surgeons. He began practicing plastic surgery in Austin in 1986, is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and by the American Board of Surgery, and is a past president of the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons. He holds private consultations with patients at the practice's main office.

He performs cosmetic surgery of the face, skin, abdomen, breasts and body, and has experience in reconstructive surgery, including breast reconstruction. Gallery pages on the practice's website show his breast, body and face procedures. The site says he is recognized as one of the Best Doctors in America, has been named a Texas Super Doctor each year since 2004, and was listed among Austin Monthly's Best Plastic Surgeons.

He is a founding member of Austin Smiles, established in 1986, and travels to developing countries to perform cleft lip and palate operations.
