Fred Wilder

Fred Wilder began practicing plastic surgery in Austin, Texas in 1986 and announced his retirement from the practice, effective October 31, 2022.

He earned a medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in 1977 and completed a general surgery residency at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston from 1980 to 1984, where he was chief resident in his final year. He then completed a plastic surgery residency at the Cronin, Brauer and Biggs Clinic at St. Joseph Hospital from 1984 to 1986. He is board-certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery.

He performed cosmetic surgery of the face, skin, abdomen, breasts and body, with a background in cleft lip and palate and breast reconstruction. According to the practice, he has been listed as a Texas Super Doctor annually since 2004 and was included among Austin Monthly's Best Plastic Surgeons. He is a past president of the Austin Society of Plastic Surgeons.
